In an ever-evolving journey of artmaking and sympoiesis, my creative practice is both a form of healing and a deliberate act of resistance against a world that, from my earliest memories, has imposed limiting, patriarchal narratives. Labeled by birth as a woman made to feel invisible and powerless by societal structures, I have relentlessly probed the origins of misogyny and the pervasive errors of race, class, gender, sexual preference, and myth. Immersed in male-biased texts that equated ‘human nature’ exclusively with male thinkers, I encountered Nietzsche—a moment of profound revelation that prompted me to ask, “Why do women have their own chapter in the philosophy of human nature?” Inspired by this question and the subversive echoes of thinkers like Schopenhauer, Kant, and Aristotle, I chose Nietzsche as my Übermensch. In doing so, I transformed my personal struggle into expansive artistic research, challenging the very foundations of human nature, crafting new narratives that transcend traditional, restrictive modes of thinking, and giving them the face of a male hero who failed—just as true heroes do when, according to history, they are not supported by women or gods. For my Nietzsche hero, God is dead and the 10th Muse gave him syphilis.
